The Opportunity:

  • We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Warehouse Store Person with opportunities as a Trainee Parts Interpreter.
  • Potential to become a permanent member of staff, based on operational requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receiving and dispatching of parts, including checking and processing inventory.
    • Inventory stocktakes and stock location management.
    • Picking, packing and correctly labelling goods for freight companies.
    • Maintaining safe work practices, including keeping work areas clean and tidy.
    • Use of forklift, pallet jack and other equipment to aid in moving products.

    Requirements:

    • Must be honest, reliable & punctual.
    • Have good attention to detail.
    • Good computer, numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
    • Current New Zealand car licence, with a clean driving record.
    • Be physically fit.
    • Neat and tidy presentation.

    This position is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The Opportunity

  • We are currently looking for a motivated truck Sales Consultant with high personal standards and integrity to join our team
  • Relevant product and industry experience highly desired, however not essential

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale, and profitability of Foton light- and medium-duty truck products in line with established targets
  • Follow the sales and quoting process (record and monitor all inquiries)
  • Apply technical expertise to develop Foton truck solutions that add benefit and value, with consideration of the operating environment and customer requirements
  • Explore new prospects (cold calling) and existing business to grow market share
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets and expand the customer base
  • Examine the market for competitor and market developments
  • Champion customer satisfaction, with both new Foton truck vehicle deliveries and existing owners
  • Within guidelines, promote and enhance product retail advertising, including presentation of vehicle, author descriptions and organising photography

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Competent administration and computer skills. Ideally experience working with and maintaining computer CRM system
  • Current driver’s licence (Up to class 2)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NZ truck market
  • Truck industry experience – preferably sales or aftersales, but would consider individuals from the truck industry wanting to get into sales
  • Working with a degree of autonomy, you will be a self-starter who enjoys driving outcomes and is not shy of pushing the boundaries to grow the brand. You will be comfortable with managing priorities and deadlines
  • Time Management – Ability to utilise time effectively and efficiently, through focusing on the more important priority tasks
  • Comfortable with supporting team members as and when required

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a motivated diesel technician with truck experience to join our team. The right calibre individual will have the opportunity to work at a distributor level, interacting with the dealer network and the manufacturer. We are looking for applicants who are focused on offering the best possible customer service experience. Being able to work with a degree of autonomy, you will also be a self-starter who enjoys driving outcomes.

In this role you’ll be reporting to the Foton NZ National Aftersales Manager and will be located at our Head Office facility in Hamilton Central.

Responsibilities

As the National Aftersales Assistant you will be responsible for:

Efficiently providing technical support to our national dealer network

Assessing and processing dealer warranty claims

New vehicle inspection, builds, technical reporting and having a willingness to pick up the tools when required

Providing a support role for any owner care issues and, as part of a small team, being flexible to perform other supportive tasks as and when required

Being a champion for customer satisfaction, with both new Foton truck vehicle deliveries and existing owners

Requirements

Full trade qualifications as a heavy diesel technician

Post apprenticeship experience working on late model trucks

A stable career history and good references

High personal standards and integrity

Excellent communication skills

Competent administration and computer skills

Comfortable with managing priorities and deadlines

Current driver’s license (up to class 2) would be beneficial but not a prerequisite

Comfortable with supporting team members as and when required
